Simon qualified from Liverpool University in 1997 and initially worked in mixed veterinary practice before joining Swayne and Partners in 2000, becoming a Partner in the practice in 2007.
Simon enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, and has a special interest in orthopaedic problems. He holds a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons post-graduate qualification in surgery, and the Long Melford practice is fully equipped for the investigation and treatment of orthopaedic cases, such as complex fracture repairs and joint problems. Simon is particularly interested in the management of canine cruciate ligament injuries, in which he has considerable experience, and he currently offers a range of surgical treatments for this condition which can be tailored to the specific needs of the patient.
Outside of work Simon enjoys spending his free time with his family.
